The heel offers some vogue and traction, however is low enough to be terribly comfy. The fleece/felt lining within makes it heat enough for out of doors, however not therefore hot that you simply cannot wear it within. Since the leather is waterproof, it's less supple than average, however the leather itself appears top quality and that i suppose it's somewhat stiff as a result of it's waterproofed. Overall, it's a really comfy boot, and it being waterproof makes it terribly useful! I have skinny calves, and may wear it with or while not my jeans tucked in. The draw back is that it'll not match somebody with larger calves. The traction is average. as a result of the leather is on the stiff facet, it wrinkles somewhat within the ankles, however it does not have an effect on the type of the boot. I've gotten lots of compliments, and my feet have stayed heat and dry.
