The heel provides some vogue and traction, however is low enough to be terribly snug. The fleece/felt lining within makes it heat enough for out of doors, however not thus hot that you just cannot wear it within. Since the leather is waterproof, it's less supple than average, however the leather itself appears top quality and that i suppose it's a bit stiff as a result of it's waterproofed. Overall, it's a awfully snug boot, and it being waterproof makes it terribly useful! I have skinny calves, and may wear it with or while not my jeans tucked in. The draw back is that it'll not match somebody with larger calves. The traction is average. as a result of the leather is on the stiff aspect, it wrinkles a bit within the ankles, however it does not have an effect on the general type of the boot. I've gotten plenty of compliments, and my feet have stayed heat and dry.
