I explore for a shoe that would go dog walking, bike riding within the rain, and simply transition from outdoors to indoors at the office--this is it. they're cute, comfy, warm, and also the lower height makes this boot a pleasant alternative for outside activities (dog walking, check; biking, check) and that i even wore them within the workplace (not all day, however I might have, that was a bonus). Note on fit: another reviews urged carrying a size larger than traditional and this can be true: I wear a real size nine and ordered the ten during this shoe, it fits perfectly and even a trifle comfortable that is good as a result of there isn't any slipping/sliding within the shoe.
